Education: I completed my Bachelors in Education with distinction in 2007 from the University of Victoria at the EKETEP campus here in Cranbrook.
Teaching Experience: I worked as a French Immersion Kindergarten teacher, a TTOC, a Reading Support Teacher and a Student Services Teacher before returning to the classroom as a Grade Two teacher in 2017. As a Student Services Teacher, I had the pleasure of working with every grade level in both English and French.
Family: My husband is a Power Engineer and we have 2 sons who attend Highlands Elementary School. We have a dog, Izzie and a Leopard Gecko, Spot. We live in the Highlands area and love spending time at Idlewild and exploring the Community Forest trails.
Hobbies: I love to bake, cook, craft, travel, eat, run and drink coffee. I especially love to drink coffee!
I am so excited to spend the year learning with your child and I look forward to collaborating with you to ensure the success of all of the students in this class!
